If you have gender, sexuality or physical sexual functioning concerns, please contact us. If you have not had a reply from Dr Tudor after 2 working days, please text: 0400 604 104.
Consulting days by arrangement can be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Weekend afternoons. This availability varies each week. Appointments can be made by phoning Dr Marie Tudor on: 0400 604 104 OR by clickingg on the ‘book online’ button. If Marie cannot answer, please followup with a text message (not VoiceMail please). Fees
Appointments are 70 minutes – the cost is $325. The Medicare rebate is $207.90 when the consultation goes over 60 minutes. Shorter consultations are not available as Dr Tudor makes comprehensive assessments, provides counselling and strategies for the future. Prescriptions relating to sexual health are available.
Concession card holders and students receive no discount as the new Item 123 halves the gap fee that was previously charged.
Follow up appointments may be required (particularly for couples) and this is something to be discussed during the first appointment. Dr Tudor’s medical sexology knowledge and over 35 years of sex and relationships therapy experience enable her to help people efficiently without necessarily needing repeated visits.
Some people may feel uncomfortable speaking about sexual issues with their family GP. As you are entitled to receive a Medicare rebate when you consult with Dr Tudor – as she works exclusively in the field of sexual health/medicl sexology, you do not need a referral from your doctor.
A Mental Health Care Plan is NOT required. Mental Health Care Plans are important when consulting with a psychologist. They are of NO advantage when you consult with Dr Tudor. In fact, the benefits of ‘Mental Health Care Plans’ would make the gap fee more than twice the amount mentioned above.
Bulk billing is not available.
In matters of your general health Dr Tudor is unable to treat you in the capacity of your own GP. She is able to work with your GP and communicate with them regarding suggested investigations to ensure that you receive the best possible care and follow up.
